This year we have been reading eye wonder before I thought it was a boring book but when I read the story it was cool. I like the part how Jack and Amos stood up for August. I like this book because this shows you that any kid should feel like a kid it doesn't matter what you look like we are gods creation god created them for a reason it doesn't mater what they look like or why they make that sound because it is them.

What have we learning in maths

This term room 14 have been learning about volume and how to solve it. Volume is how many cubes that can fit in the box.We had to build the three the 3D.

This is the boxes we had to estimate witch is the smallest to biggest. Mrs Mellick was doing it as well. In the end we had to see who was right.

On Wednesday the 3 of september we had a trip to Visy.Visy is a place where they recycle it was very cool going to VIsy I had fun in visy I learnt did you know that plastic takes a long time to recycle and that 2.5 million tonnes of rubbish each year in New Zealand has been buried deep down in the soils because people have not put their rubbish in the right bin. Why? Because you cannot recycle rubbish that are not sorted out. ¾ of that rubbish would have been saved and made into to incredible and new stuff that is what learnt in Visy. DId you know 1 tonne saves enogh energy to power a refrigerator for a month and 1 tonnes saves 15 of CO2 emissions. thank you

I like your story but there is some stuff you have problems with . Firstly, why did you run into the woods? You could have run to your grandma's house. Secondly, why would you want to run  into a stranger's house?. Thirdly, why would you let an old lady looking ugly in the house?. What was it like for you to have to be  asleep that long. Were you scary did you have dreams were you afraid? Why would you taste an apple from a old lady a you crazy but I like your story.

Today Room 14 have been leaning about speech recognition.
James helped as to speech Recognition to talk to it like it's stupid but it is not stupid.

Tennis

This term Room 14 have been learning how to play Tennis and they have learned lots of things like the middle  is called the sweet spot and how to swing the Tennis racket.

This is my friend Ben he is good. When we were playing a game Ben won. He might be a good tennis player.Do you think he might be a tennis player one day?

This week room 14 have been playing tennis with Josh. We were learning how to hit over a net and it was kind of tricky.

On Monday we were doing exercise in the hall because it was raining outside and plus it was fun because we threw the ball to our buddy.

After all of those exercise we were learning how to bounce the ball very fast and Josh was the expert of it. I felt so fit that I wanted to play all day and it was fun!
